Le Marais is an 18th Century farmhouse and barn converted into a charming holiday home. Using local artisans schooled in the traditions of the area, the building has been returned to its original condition. All new windows and shutters, new doors and lime washed plaster have faithfully helped to restore Le Marais. The original fireplace was sandblasted, as were the oak beams, to bring them back to their best condition.
That is not to say that the house does not have all the modern facilities, which includes all new electrics and plumbing, a heated swimming pool, fitted kitchen and all new bathrooms.
